Since her studies at the Academy of Visual Arts Hamburg/ Bildkunst Akademie Hamburg, Sarah-Lena Rickert has consistently focused on the depiction of liminal spaces and delicate transitions. In her work, the human figure often becomes a protagonist, anchored in a symbolic, almost dreamlike environment. The creative process, following the principle of weaving and dissolving, leads to a subtle interplay between the visible and the invisible.
